Welcome...my history with Stampin’Up!
I signed up as an Independent Demonstrator in November 2005. My current SU title is "Silver", of which I'm pretty proud of (third level of several). Like most who purchase the Starter Kit (for the incredible value), I thought the discount on product would help fulfill my needs as a hobbyist. However, it didn’t take me long to share my love for all that SU has to offer with others...I quickly began to offer classes & still going strong! I’ve made scrapbooks for many years...that was my first love. In addition, I’m now busy creating my own greeting cards & unique crafty-gift-giving projects. I've sold my cards at a local shop in my hometown, held a Trunk Show at the famous GRAND HOTEL on Mackinac Island, MI & have participated in several local craft events/fairs.
I’ve attended various events that SU offers their Demonstrators; traveling to Salt Lake City, UT (7 times) & once to Denver, CO to participate in a total of eight -AWESOME- annual Conventions! Then, to Houston,TX; Palm Springs, CA; Phoenix, AZ & San Antonio, TX to attend annual Leadership Conferences. I've attended Regional Conferences in Lansing, MI (twice), Phoenix, AZ & San Antonio, TX. A few 'Honors' I've received were in July 2011 (at Convention), I've received my gold 5 year pin. (Since then, I received my 10 year...working towards my 20 year pin!) Then in early July 2012, I was notified by Stampin'UP! Headquarters that I had earned an Annual Award in the category of Annual Promotions to Sr. Associate in Level 1 of my downline. I was pleasantly surprised; while at Convention I received a gold pin and later picked out a free current stamp set as a reward. Once a month I can attend a gathering of many local demonstrators...right here in mid-Michigan, provided by my Up-Line, Ronda Wade. I've attended local Live Conventions & Leadership Events right here in Michigan where there are Demonstrators from all over (typically the United States & Canada), and we participate in a weekend of business training, viewing project sample displays, lots of stamping, socializing & the pleasure of hearing from "top demonstrators" who travel & share awesome ideas of how they grew their businesses - very rewarding!! Events such as those mentioned, provide me with up-to-date knowledge of products & creative ways to use the wide variety offered by Stampin’ Up!
Many people think we only offer rubber stamps, and while that is a huge part of what SU is all about (card making), you can find lots of products to use for your scrapbooking needs; original style & "Memories & More Card Pack" product line. There are several, *All Inclusive Kits* offered within the Annual Catalog, as well as the Occasions & Holiday Supplements. We have a huge product line of Die Cuts & Embossing Folders to help you produce beautiful pieces to incorporate in your paper crafting & quilting/sewing needs. SU even overs an awesome kit called "Paper Pumpkin" - a surprise each month directly to your mailbox!!

My family...I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 45 years. We have 4 wonderful adult children (3 daughters/1 son), as well as 3 great son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law & 3 adorable grandsons/1 granddaughter. We've lived in Michigan for nearly 34 years; having moved here from New York & previously living in California, Illinois, Iowa & Ohio.
